Nutz! It's about all that I can say about the tremedous move of God we saw in Kentucky last week. We saw something near 200 hundred miracles- from the "simple" head-aches and back-pain to broken bones being knit back together, flat feet given arches, hearing aids being tossed out and even metal pins and plates disolving out of a girls arm! I will try to post more details in the coming days. Alton, Scott, DJ, Ben, Amy, Judy, and John you guys are amazing!!!!!! I can't imagine a better crew to minister with. Judy you were the perfect hostess; Shawna and Diana for providing the wonderfull meals that kept us full... and everyone else that said yes to God, stepped up to the plate and stepped into their destiny... We're headed to Kentucky in two days!!! In the mean time God is busting doors wide open on the streets of Santa Monica. Me and my buddy Scott have started a house of prayer on the streets. We go out with a full sound system and set up on the 3rd Street Promenade. Our desire is to release the presence of God through prophetic worship and preaching the Kingdom. We spent our first two hours sing and playing, with a couple encouters with Christians that came out of the Jesus movement. Our second two hours open with prayer for a gentlemen who had such a tremendous amount of pain in his legs he could barely walk and depended up on a cane to get around. We prayed for him and all pain left his legs and he regained full mobility and range of motion. We grabbed his cane and he continued to walk with no issues... After this we had a guy with cerebral palsy come by with his attendant. We talked a while, the Lord show me to sing a prophectic song over him. As we prayed for healing the guy flops over in his wheel, pops up excited and says he going to walk, and almost before anyone is ready, he pops out of his wheel chair and begins to walk, he teters some, and demands he's walking down the Promenade. We repeat the prayer for healing a number of time, until finally he has no pain in his back or his legs which he has had as long as he can remember. We basically see at least a fifty percent improvement on the spot. His attendant is stunned at the fact he is walking and never has been able to do it in the past!!!! Over the evening we see a set of knees healed, numbness go, pain in the feet subside, pain and imobility leave from scolliosis! Jesus is King!!!!! Live Revival, Joel

I have not been writing much lately because God had been so on the move. In San Juan we have seen over 85 people come to the Lord since July. This has really been an amazing work. We see the people that have come to the Lord week in and week out. We've been able to begin discipling and really coming along side the new converts and draw them deeper into the Lord. Three weeks ago we returned to high school football games. You can search the back to last October for result of our first football game. Needless to say the response and the Glory of God that been released is tremendous. Our buddies back in Atlanta have been experiencing the same thing. Here goes. Three weeks ago we have 3 salvations and 20 healings. Last week we had 7 salvations and 40 healings-one in which we hear back from the school trainer telling us that the broken leg we prayed for was healed. Last night we had 14 salvations and well over 50 healings. We began just to train and release the kids to pray for healing for one another and the all got healed. I was kicked out of the game due to the spectacle it was creating but the rest of out team went unnoticed all through out the game. I am still in a near state shock and what God is doing. Just look back through out this blog and you will see the weakness and fear that we've come out of. I have discover God so want to use us that when we just believe and go for what he is saying to do we will be overwhelmed by his power and soaked in his love. God has been pouring out His presence on us as we have been going out to the streets. The testimonies may look the same - but something bigger is going on and we can feel it. Here's some of what I relate to a friend about our outing a week and half ago: ----- We had a soaking conference and God's presence really came. God began to download to me during the service, that the past year we had been on the streets we we're saying yes to what he wants to do. He took it a step further by saying I am with you and want to meet you on the streets, and in the midst of you fears as you step through them to do what I want to do.(Essentially dying to our flesh to obey God) We I grab several other people and say, "We're going on the streets right now!" I can barely stand the presence of God is so strong as we leave. We arrive at the Spectrum and there are 8000+ people there. It's going to be a good night. I get there first and see crutches; what's got me freaked is going it alone and dropping into prophetic mode. A live band was playing to loud to talk so I wait a couple minutes for the last song to finish. Okay I'm going in. Just then the rest of our team gets there - okay - at least I'm not alone. We go in and find out he was running hard plalying frisbee late at night tripped over a curb and took most of the skin off of his knee. That's why it hurt. We've seen all sort of knee injuries healed but never really bad skinned knees. We pray three times with a very slight decrease in pain level. The group of kids claimed to be Christian. All of a sudden I begin to hear in my head how he thinks he doesn't have it together enough to be with God and has just given up. Takes a minute or so to get the guts up to say it, but I do and the kids cracks. We pray over him for a while longer and he says "How did you know that?" We left him still on crutches but healed in the heart with his relationship with God. We continue on and are pray for a shoulder of one of the shop keepers we pastor when we go out, it get healed a second time, just the I here a shout from some girls, "Hey your the guy from the football game! You healed us when you prayed for us!" So I go over leaving the rest of the team with Carlos. I go over and say, "It wasn't me who healed you, it was Jesus!" The girl exclaim "That's right." So I ask them what's going on and the said they were out with their guy friends watching X-men. All of a sudden I get a word o knowledge for a shoulder/neck, one of the girls says that's me, I was in a wreck 2 weeks ago and my neck and shoulder have been bothering me. "Lets pray!" I tell her friend, "you were healed at the football game, help me pray." We bother lay hands on the neck of the other gal and the fire of God gets all over the hands and neck of both girls and all pain leaves. I begin to proclaim that this is the evidence of Jesus standing right here with us right now. I ask the guys what they think. They are quite amazed. I ask them do you know a God that does this today. One says "no I don't," "Do you want to?" "Yes." in reply. I lead him through the prayer to receive Christ then ask for the Holy Spirit to come and he starts rocking and laughing the spirit moving on him. The girls watching this get pretty lit also(They were already Christian). I turn to the other guy and ask, "what about you?" He says "I'm Mormon, I suppose to pray in my heart everyday." I reply to the order, "Sounds like a lot of work, let pray for you and your prayer time will be amazing a lot like right now!" He way backs off and says "I'm good." All the while this is going on I feel the presence of God growing stronger by the second; I'm not talking about the feeling you get with the release of signs and wonders but the manifest presence feeling you get after spend hours with the Lord and he walks in the room. In the middle of the moment another girl comes into the group and begins to confess she has been living with one foot in the world and the other with Christ and she wants to change that! I pray and prophesy over her and she gets rocked. While this is going on I notice that three other groups of 8 plus guys and girls have started to come up to all the people of our group under a Spirit of Conviction wanting prayer to repent before we can even say anything! After it's all over we see 5 or more kids get lit, one get saved and two healed, But the staggering effect is the manifest presence of God that is left upon us. We begin to thank him for what he has just done. As we begin to leave, I walk into what I would describe as a pocket of one strongest presences of God I have ever felt anywhere. In the middle of the Spectrum all five of us begin to manifest under the presence of God(If you know me that is something I try not to do on the streets) I'm simply overwhelmed by his presence. We had a guy come down from Oregon first time on the streets and he is ripping hole in people with the prophetic - a really quiet shy kind of guy - manifesting off the charts shouts to some kids, "come get some of this, it's free!" We are stuck here in the presence of God almost unable to move until the mom of the teenager in group calls looking for him. ------ We had a continuation of God's presence with us on the streets this past week where we saw a woman wracked with pain in a wheelchair from Fibro-Myalgea have all the pain leave! Plus, two legs in hard casts that had all pain leave after prayer from our team. Live Revival, Joel

What a winter! Last blog was created at the end of Febuary, but I discovered I forgot to post it. Up until two weeks ago I have had little time on the streets - but what we have seen on the streets in terms of healing we have watched invade the church. God has also given my family and I a house. We had no finance and horrible credit, but out of a series of dreams God coaxed us ever so gently to check on financing - low and behold (not by my efforts) our credit completely turned around that we qualified for a large number of home loans. Family stepped in with down payments and at the beginning of may we moved into a house in the mountains of Orange County. So comes to last friday night we hit the streets for the first time since January and just like His promises, God shows up. We have pain completely leave to shoulders and a back - with a prophetic word that leads to salvation! Last Saturday night I witnessed the power of God move in a way and scale like I have never seen. Back in the summer God gave us a vision to begin to go to sporting events namely professional events and he would release his glory and the amazing signs and wonders would break out. In our discovery of the inheritance of the Kingdom of God we have discovered a process that take us from the small scale to the large scale. We see that in King David's life as a shepard boy facing lions and bears all the way to taking on Goliath one on one. "How should we take on a vision of "invading" professional sporting events?" Well by starting in high school sports events. We received word that the #1 ranked high school football team in California was hosting the the #3 team in the state - the crowd was expected to be 10,000 people. At word of this my mouth starts watering at taking the gosple to so large a crowd. We go out with a team of seven experienced revivalists. Most of the team has been with me all summer and is repesented by all the testimonies that are listed on this blog plus a lot that I haven't time to record here. We arrive at the game in a ten passenger van and spend the next 45 minutes "soaking" and getting filled with the presence of the Lord. We are literally poured out of the van and we ask the Lord to come again and almost everone falls to the ground. We are incredibly eager to get into the stadium. "Standing room only!" is the word told us by the ticket takers. As we walk in all of our experience that we had gained on the streets literally went out the window as we were confronted with a crowd that numbered well over 14,000 people. Intimidation would describe what lay before us. We are confronted immediately by three people in the stands in wheelchairs and one gentleman in an ankle cast. People are literally packed in like sardines, how do we get the people? How will this work. We stay calm and all decided to break up and prayer walk the grounds. During this time we see groups of kids in different areas and think, "Well maybe." The game gets under way and we watch and pray. I can't stand it anymore and approach the gentleman in the cast and he is excited to let us pray yet he is having the cast removed two days later. So we wander and pray and ask for the Lord to come. We spot several other people to pray for and figure half time might be the best time. I start to gets a little discourged thinking that this idea may not be as good as it seemed. I put that thought away and decide,"You know worst case senario, we watch a really good football game." Halfway through the second quarter i feel we should go up to the bathroom and consesion stand area and just start breaking into groups and say, "Jesus is King, his Kingdom is here, and we want to prove it." Four out of the seven of us have linked back up near the bathrooms and as halftime starts we begin to just go for it. We pray for one gentleman who was a Christian already that the Lord would bless him. I notice a group of kids and think that could be a good group. At the same moment Nathan points to the sme group and says, "I see good on that Group," John interjects about having a word of knowledge for a left knee and I see a knee wrapped in that group of kids... "We're invading that group!" We ask the kid what happened to his knee and if we could pray for it. He starts off with, "No, I'm Catholic." We jump on that and begin to teach the works of Jesus, "you beleive that's true, don't you?" "yes," "let us prayer." "No." Then all his friends start goading him to try it. We turn and ask if anyone else in the group has pain in their bodies. On kid says he hurt his shoulder and he lets us pray. The pain immediately goes. The kid with the knee gets jealous and say pray for me now; He gets healed and shows no sign of pain and can move freely without issue. Another kid steps in and asks us to pray for his knee. I lay hands on the knee and I feel the healing power go out and the swelling shrink. I tell him to check it and he says there is no pain now and he has full mobility. We begin to declare, "Jesus is King and his Kingdom is here healing people do you want to know a God who heals hurting people!" And now our first salvation begin to trickle in from our other team members. Another kid with two bad knees comes in and ask for prayer. All pain leaves and he can move with no discomfort. Through the night we see at least nine knees get healed. Two of these occur in the locker room and down on the field unknown to us at the time. One of our team members is an assistant trainer to the football team and he prays for two knees that should have ended their evening of play, yet after the prayer all pain and swelling left their knees and they immediately went back into the game and finished the night. Back up top, we get into the midst of a "riot" of kids grabbing us to have us pray for them. Hearts, backs, shoulders, you name it the kids were in pain there. By the time we could break away and call in the rest of our team we had seen at leat eight healings. When the arrived the crowds kept getting bigger. We felt and heard toes that were deformed from birth crack under our hands and the constant pain they were in completely leave so that the person was for the first time able to stand with weight on her toes. Then came the kids to mock what they were hearing about this healing going on. They watched an made the odd comment here and there. When we asked if there is anything we could prayer for- broken back, broken hip - but the would not let us pray for them. Then another asked if we could pray for his toe. Some how he had hurt it and it was in pain. I said, "Let's pray." He had a "yeah really," smirk on his face. We prayed once and nothing happened. When I prayed again I felt the power go out and he shouted, "What did you do my toe went numb!" "Jesus is healing you!" In utter shock he steps back and says to his friends, "There's no pain at all!" If things weren't wild enough already, it's like the atmosphere completely changes and we as a team step into a whole new level. The mockers with the hip and back immediately beg for prayer. I place my hand near the kids hip feel the power ruch out and he jumps and say, " My God it's gone numb!" I tell walk around and check come back if there even a little bit of pain. He comes back and I find out this was an injury from three years ago and he has never had relief from the pain even while on meds. We pray once more and all the pain completely leaves. I make him check in every way and there is no pain at all. I hold my hand up high and say, "Kick it!" He does and replies, "I should be doubled over in pain right now, this is the first time in three years without it!" All of his friends testify to this being the truth. The other kid with the back says, "pray for me now." We find out he broke it a year and half before and has been in constant pain also. We pray and all pain completely leaves. He goes bezerk! By now we can barely keep up everything happening. Another kid with pain in his lungs is instantly heal and gets quite an amazing word about his destiny. Every team member sees at least 10-15 healings. The ones listed were some of the high lights of what occured. Literally the Heavens opened and descend upon this game. We get a report three days later that friends from the church were watching the game on TV and at half time felt the presence of the Lord come on them while watching the game! The night was amazing conservitively we are say there were at least: 30 healings 5 salvations and 200-1000 people seeing and hearing the Gospel of the Kingdom preached and validated with signs and wonders for over hours! We have had an amazing end to the summer, with two out reaches a week that has expanded into four we have seen at least 20 salvations since our last posting. Plus two instances in which we had cancer patients in wheelchairs with extreme pain stand up and walk pain free! I am still in a battle with getting my laptop up, that's why the updates are also sparse, it's rare that I have opportunities to update at work-this is one of them. 6/17/05 - Theater Outreach

Bob and I arrived together, we immediately saw a 20 something with a shoulder mobility brace on.  We make the approach and ask him what happen.  He broke his clavicacle, and there was still pain.  We asked if we could pray.  When we did he said he felt like something was vibrating in his shoulder.  He checked it and the pain was much less.  We prayed one more time and he didn’t feel anymore pain with a really shocked look.  We tried to coax him into taking off the brace but he wouldn’t.  We then used this as an opportunity to preach the gospel to him.  He was not a Christian and did not make Jesus his master.

 While this as going own another young couple go by the guy with a broken leg, I leave Bob praying with the other guy, and chase after the broken leg.  I ask if I might pray for his leg he says, no he’s Catholic, I say, “that’s fine, God can still heal you.”  He takes of and begins shouting at me, I shout back “God wants to heal you!”

 We pray for a kid by the named of Nick with a sore throat and it is completely healed!

 I go down on my knees in the square and begin to pray for God presence to manifest in a greater way.  I see a picture of some on in a soft rigid blue cast, and someone on crutches with brown around the legs.  Five minutes later a girl and her mom are headed across the parking lot we take off after them.  The girl readily shares what happened and just as we begin to say that God will come and heal, the mom say we’re not interested and rushes her daughter off.

 Later I spot a gal on crutches with brown snow boots.  I grab Heidi to go with me so as not to intimidate.  Everything seems to be going well finding out what happened, until just as we are about to pray in Jesus name, she says no as Heidi goes to lay on hands.  She says she will heal herself, and will not talk about Jesus.  I shoot back, “If your leg gets healed right now when we pray will you talk!”   She says “I’ve got to go!”  and the group almost runs off.

 Heidi also had two other rebuffs at prayer for healing from elderly folks, as I had a gentlemen with what looked like a suffering from a stroke would not even acknowledge me when I tried to get his attention.

 It was a great night.  We had two healings and a boldness to stand up against intimidation by those who almost violently did not want prayer.

6/18/05 - Walmart - One person - heart, hearing, and bronchitis

Corey, Rod, Bob, and I went our Walmart RAID(Rigtheous Acts In Darkness) during the Saturday night service.  When we arrived there we found a man in his late seventies in a wheelchair with one leg missing.  We asked if we might pray for him.  He says yes and we ask what we might pray for.  He tells us his heart gives him a lot of trouble.  So we start of by praying for that.

He tells he feels warmth and a strange vibration go through his heart and it feel good.  Corey get a word of knowledge about bronchitis and he say yes the doctors say I have a really bad case- he had quite a nasty cough while we were visiting at first and after we pray for it the cough is silenced for the rest of our conversation give one long clearing sounding cough. 

All the while he is thanking us profusely for talking and sharing with him.  We ask him about his salvation and he tells us he know Jesus.  We emphasize the God's love for him and pray for him about that.

After that we feel comfortable with and we ask if we might pray God would create new leg for him that was stolen by diabetes just over a year ago.  He lets and we pray our best and contend with all our hearts and didn't see a new leg grow out, but we were will to go there.  I was really freaked about asking "Can we pray for God regrow your leg?"  If that's not hard enough infront of a Walmart with people in and out and he is right in the middle of the crowd!  These are the time we just have to press through the flesh and contend no matter the out come or response.

We ask him if there is anything else we could pray for and he says his ears.  He is hard of hearing.  So we pray for his ears and he feels something pop and shift in his ear drum.  As we left he profusely thanked us for sharing with him and praying for him.

6/19/05 - Church - Pain left foot and pain left broken arm

While at church a meet a man that has had a sharp pain in his right foot for about three months.  We heard our testimonies of Walmart, and I said lets pray God's going to demonstrate his Kingdom right now.  First time we pray all the pain leaves with just a twinge of discomfort. We pray a second time and all discomfort leaves.  He jumps around to test it and there is no pain or discomfort.

Later on one of our high schoolers has a cast on his arm.  We found out that he had a bike accident that week and broke his arm.  We gather the entire High School group around him and begin to pray.  After sometime of pray the pain begins to subside.  Five more round of prayer and the pain is entire gone out of his arm.  It's a hard cast with no way to remove it to check it.  Although he is scheduled to have surgery on it the following day.  We have yet to hear the account of what transpire in the doctor's office.  If more that just the pain was taken away you will be first to know.

06/11/05 8:45 PM Saturday Night: During the service I ask one of my buds, "Wanna go to Walmart and pray for people?"  "Oh yeah!"   So we hopped in car and went arround the corner to Walmart praying all the way.  We walk in and head down the main isle then I feel to make a right and go down to the third isle.  I look  left and see no one, Rod looks right and sees a gal in an electric cart.  He grabs my arm and says right there.  We make our way back arround to meet her and ask if we might pray for her. 

She kind of flips out on us thinking we are Jehovahs Witnesses, after we state we are not, but led here by the Lord to pray for her, she consents to let us pray.  She explains to us that she has had MS (multiple sclerosis) for 25 five years and hasn't felt her legs for about six years.  We also find out she was in a car accident a few weeks ago and she cannot move her neck from all the pain.

We begin to tell of all the testimonies of healing we have seen in the  last couple weeks and we begin to pray.  Almost immediately she can move her neck with no pain.  We begin to pray for her back and all of the pain leaves.  Next we pray for her legs which are a deep purple color and ice cold.  As we pray we begin to feel warmth return, as the warmth is returning so is a pink natural skin color return, and she begins to exclaim "I can feel my toes! I can feel my toes!" 

6/12/05 Sunday Afternoon Homeless Outreach. So much happened here, if I missed reporting it please leave the missing parts under testimonies.

We split into two groups. Our group goes out and get turned down in regards to praying for healing.  We pick add a couple high schoolers to our group and get turned down once again for a broken arm.  Next person we come upon has a bad knee, we pray for it and in about 2-3 minutes he's jumping on it without any pain.  We continue on and find a guy in a knee and backbrace.  As we are praying for him I she a woman with a cast on her arm coming.  I grab one of th high schoolers and we flag her down.  The rest of the team with the back and knee see all pain leave his body and his mobility is returned.

Back to the broken wrist.  She broke it 2 1/2 weeks before and could only afford to have a soft cast put on.  I tell her it's her lucky day her arm is going to be healed.  We begin to speak of the kingdom of God has come to free her of her injury.  We begin to pray.  The pain level goes from a 10 to a 5 and all of a sudden she can move her arm some.  We pray again and the pain goes down to a 3. We pray again and the pain goes to a 1.  I challenge her to take off her cast if all the pain goes away.  We pray one last time (by this time the rest of our group has caught up with us) and all the pain leaves.  I reminder her of our wager and she reluctantly removes the cast.  She all of a sudden gets a dumdstruck look on her face and she says "It's not broken!"  She examines her arm in utter disbelief that it moves and is not bent crooked and not a trace of pain!  

Update to this healing: 6/21/05 - One of the high schoolers praying for this lady had a recent arm fracture also and had a 1/4 inch section of missing bone in his wrist.  As we prayed he felt a popping in his wrist and thought nothing of it.  We it turns out when he went to the doctor for an exam, the doctor proclaimed a miracle had happened and a 1/4 of bone had simply regrown when it should not have.  I hope to have pictures of those xrays soon.

The other team had amazing success also.  They prayed for a migrain headache with stomach pains and all pain left the woman's body.  They prayed for 2 more knees and a back and say all pain and discomfort leave.

After we gather as homeless as we can I preach a message about the Kingdom of God and signs and wonders that testify to it.  At the end we had two women with MS come up for prayer and our team prays for them and we see pain leave their bodies and both stand up to walk.

I feel I am missing something but I can't put my finger on it.  You guys who went out with us please add what I may have missed or forgotten.
